With a quick unboxing, walkthrough of the setup procedure, a look at Roku OS 10, and more, we review the new Roku Express 4K TV streamer. If you're looking for a low-cost Ultra HD streaming stick in 2021, this is one of the best, with HDR10 Plus support.
As ever, the Roku Express 4K is compact and unobtrusive.
It connects to any spare HDMI port on your TV via the provided high-speed cable (make sure you have HDCP 2.2 support for the maxed-out images) (make sure you have HDCP 2.2 support for the maxed-out visuals).
The setup is straightforward, and I had no trouble streaming content via WiFi, even at 4K resolution.
However, there is no voice control via the remote.
In comparison to prior Roku streamers, you get dual band WiFi, HDR10 Plus support, and all for the low price of £39 in the UK.
Check out my reviews of the remainder of the lineup for 2021, and let me know what you think in the comments!
