The Nothing Phone 2 should be one of the best smartphones of 2023, or at least the most hotly anticipated. The original impressed with its dependable camera tech, smooth performance, unique UI and wireless battery charging, features which should be back or improved for the Nothing Phone 2. Expect an even bigger battery, a more powerful Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, and RGB makeover for that Glyph lighting. Here's a look at the biggest leaks and rumours so far.

However, while the Nothing Phone 2 launch may still be a couple of months off, we're gonna see the new Nothing Ear 2 just next week (Wednesday 22 March). And one of the new smartphone's biggest rivals was just revealed - the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G, with a £449 UK asking price.

Unboxing and review of the Samsung Galaxy A54 coming soon, but the solid media chops, upgraded camera setup and respectable specs suggest this will be one of the best mid-range mobiles of 2023. So can the Nothing Phone 2 do enough to sway interest?
