Today I got to see an awesome display of a Quad Key 16x PCIe 3.0 Add-in Card from ASRock, this supports 4 NVMe PCIe SSDs, that can combine over raid 0 to give you unmatched (or least speeds that I have never seen before) file transfer speeds over a 100gbps NIC connection.
There was also Intel's Optane 16GB and 32GB on display, though being in my studio I was not able to test the promised 5.8x increase in speeds for loading games.
