We said the iPhone 13 Pro had the "greatest camera" in a smartphone when it was released earlier this fall. However, Google's Pixel 6 Pro, with its 50-megapixel sensor that is hard-coded to create 12.5-megapixel photographs, was finally released a few weeks later, proving to be a formidable competition for the 12-megapixel camera in the iPhone 13 Pro. I took 1,000 photos with each device to settle the score and learned that using these cameras was about far more than their final output.
