The Stream will cost you £35 one-time, and Virgin Media will consolidate your Netflix, Disney Plus, and other subscription costs. You can even get 10% of your final fees returned! The voice search, UI, and primary functions are all covered in this hands-on review.
Of course, in order to use the Stream, you must be a Virgin Broadband member, which rules out a huge chunk of the market. The Virgin Stream, like the Roku and Sky Glass, can't record live TV, but it does feature plenty of channels and all of the major streaming apps.
Voice search isn't as clever as we'd like it to be.
