When someone dropped off an i7-4790K with some ram and a HDD, I thought "let's couple this bargain with my dumpster picked Z87 board and see how it can perform", and coupling these 3 CPUs with a 5700 XT at 1080p, showed that the i3-10100F and Ryzen 3 3300X, although good, aren't in a different league to this old but gold CPU.
