The E5-2689 was a special type of OEM CPU never released to the public.... well not directly. You can pick them up used and they are an improvement over the popular E5-2670, which I used in a special Dual CPU build on the channel quite a while ago. Though today we compare it against a i9-9900K which is clocked to 5GHz all cores, and also discover quite an exciting x79 motherboard in the process.
