The Alienware 15 is every inch a gaming rig, with a chunky, 1.3-inch-wide chassis and a big 15.6-inch display with full HD resolution. Now that's a lower resolution than you might see as 3k and 4k displays show up on other gaming laptops, but we recommend sticking to full HD for gaming, since mobile graphics cards can't yet deliver 4k gaming with the sort of frame rates you need for smooth gameplay.
