A Capture card can only tell so much of a story and today we have the Nvidia RTX 2070 and AMD's latest installment of graphics card, the RX 590. Up for testing on these cards (with a 4K Monitor and a Sony A7S II with a Carl Zeiss Lens) is five different games: Far Cry 5, Overwatch, Dota 2, CoD Black Out 4 and Forza Horizon 4.
And instead of just showing side by side footage, we decide to get a static camera with all static settings and record apples to apples to see (at a pixel level) what differences we can see).
Also we examine what is going on (at a pixel level), without suffering from capture card compression or other outside unworldly influence.
