AMD has scored some wins recently against its ancient rival Intel, and all told it's been doing pretty well in the desktop enthusiast processor race. But today, the company is running up the score a bit with its 16-core Ryzen 9 3950X processor. AMD says this is the fastest desktop processor it's ever built.
