This week Apple launched a few very expensive shiny things like the iMac 2021, sporting that M1 chipset rather than Intel, plus a new iPad Pro with the same tech. AirTags are apparently actually a thing at long last. And they're not charging $100 per tag, unlike those Mac wheels. Here's a review of the specs and features - ooooh, pretty colours! Buy! Buy!

As well as new iMacs and iPads, the 2021 trend of budget phone launches every other day continued with the Realme 8 5G. This Dimensity-powered smartphone is very different from the standard Realme 8 as you get an IPS screen with 90Hz refresh rate, and the camera tech has also changed. Stay tuned for my unboxing and full review, as this 5G phone is hitting the UK in May.

This week I've also been playing with the Infinix Hot 10S NFC, and next week is the big Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event (Weds April 28), so get ready for considerably more expensive handsets.
