Three months after its UK release, we review the Macbook Pro 16 with M1 Max CPU to see if it's the greatest creative laptop in 2022. I've been using Apple's biggest, most powerful 16-inch Macbook Pro for video and picture editing and here's my impressions on performance, battery life and beyond, over the original Silicon Pro.

This updated notebook outperforms the 13-inch variant with the original M1 chipset by a significant margin. Rather than being obliged to utilize Apple's proprietary ProRes standards, I can actually edit video with MPEG files! Also, use GIMP to edit your photos!
