Things are shaking up in the PC market, with the International Data Corporation reporting that shipments of personal computers in the U.S. grew by 4.3 percent in the third quarter. That works out to be about 17.3 million desktop and laptop computers. But the big surprise was Apple beating out ASUS to take the number five slot for most PCs shipped worldwide.
