After buying a heap of OEM PCs, I thought I would experiment a little with them and see what they are all about. Repurposing the motherboards seems a little difficult, especially after 2nd and 3rd gen, but the 1st Gen Acers seem like they are a straight swap with no hassles. The Dell motherboards present the problem of having error messages upon boot, which seem to occur every single time, but the power switch wasn't too difficult to figure out and after a bit of tinkering is now working and ready to be put in a different case (that is, if someone doesn't mind pressing f1 everytime their PC boots up!)
