Specifically made for the DP server, Dust Escape Remake is yet another Dust themed Zombie Escape map. Expectedly it's a remake of the ze_dust_escape version for CS1.6 although it's arguably an entirely different version. It has you running across large wide and open corridors, with some occasional traps and parkour. However, overall I found this map to be weakly balanced because zombies have 0 chance to get back at humans, no matter how many motherzombies there are or how many get infected along the way. The ending segment is a joke with just a singular thin crossover, and a helicopter that leaves in 30 seconds.

Most disappointingly is the large open space with invisible walls where humans can shoot zombies, but zombies cannot infect humans through those walls. This is a really stupid idea, it's conceptually flawed and completely breaks the gameplay and fun. Perhaps a small part in all of this is due to server settings not entirely tailored for a better favor in zombies, but even then it's still miles away from offering fair chances for zombies.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend running this map on any server as it's clear this map can only be won by either an incredibly overpowered VIP zombie or basically cheating admins or owners (aka giving themselves all the necessary boost to bypass knockback, speed and multijumps compared to regular players).
