Now that I played it a second time, it's even more amazing to see how close this 1.6 port from Source (and GO) matches with the original. Mario and Peach do appear in the map, but only as 2D sprites, so don't be fooled! It is one of the rare maps with an actual boss, although you can't really call it a bossbattle, as you don't fight the boss itself (whom is Bowser btw).

The map is relatively big, has many custom textures, and plays really well. The ending platform, however, leaves little to no time for late backpedallers, which is a shame since their effort to keep the team alive is almost always in vein for them, and they only!

Regardless, a great mario map for Counter-Strike, so it's a recommendation!

GAMEPLAY MODE: Zombie Escape

Zombie Escape is a Source Mod that runs in CS, CS:S and CS:GO. The goal is to escape as a team (CT's) from the infected (T) that get randomly chosen each round. During the escaping attempt, random and fixed events may happen that reward special items to aid in pushing back the zombies. If the team succeeds in surviving, they win and the zombies are slayed.

If the opposite is true, all humans will become infected and all hope is lost! Make sure to bring good teamwork to the table as you'll need it to overcome some of the harder challenges such as boss battles and giant zombie hordes.
