When I got a BX100 500GB model in I didn't know what to expect from it, but as soon as I started testing it I knew it was as with most Crucial products, just another great value for money offering. This drive performs quite well for the money, though it doesn't perform as well as the Previous gen MX100, and also showed some inconsistencies in the HD Tune Pro Benchmarks.

As pricing stands, it is currently the cheapest SSD for the money from Crucial, though with the MX100 being only slightly more expensive and having that juicy Marvel controller on board I would opt for a recommendation of going with the MX100 if you can over the BX100, however the BX100 is still a solid drive with solid performance.
