About one of the strangest newcomers of 2018 for Zombie Escape, necromanteion is basically a 3-level large-scale Zombie Escape map, featuring weird boss battles and few special items. This is what the mapper has to say about the map:

"The map is made by referring to the Greek Mythology. Hades, the God of Underworld is the oldest son of Cronus and Rhea. He has 2 brothers, Zeus and Poseidon. They defeated their father and take the ruleship of the cosmos. Zeus received the sky, Poseidon received the sea, Hades received the Underworld."

From that, I gather that all three levels are one of each (level 1 = sky, level 2 the sea, level 3 the underworld). It's a pretty cool concept, and many things in the map like the textures are nice. Balance and gameplay are optimized. It's just, the map sometimes feels too large, and for me personally that gets a bit tiring, although this is minor compared to everything the map does well!

Definitly a recommendation, and a welcome addition to the ZE map pool.
