The Dell UltraSharp UP2414Q ($999.99) is the company's first 24-inch class Ultra High Definition (UHD) desktop monitor and is only one of three 4K monitors currently on Dell's roster, which includes the high-end UltraSharp UP3214Q and the affordably priced P2815Q. The UP2414Q uses IPS panel technology to deliver an exquisite 3,840-by-2,160 resolution image with accurate colors and solid grayscale performance. It's also equipped with a fully adjustable stand, an auto-rotate feature, and a high-speed USB port, though none of the USB ports are side-mounted for easy access. As with most UHD monitors, the Dell UltraSharp UP2414Q$869.99 at Dell is fairly expensive, and as we saw with the Editors' Choice NEC MultiSync EA244UHD$1,349.00 at Amazon, Windows desktop icons and fonts are minuscule when displayed in UHD on a screen this small.
