Lisa Gade reviews the Dell XPS 15 mid-2012 model. This is a 15.6" thin and light notebook that weighs 5.79 lbs and is 0.91" thick. It has an excellent 1080p with Gorilla Glass. We look at the 2.1GHz Intel Core i7 quad core Ivy Bridge model with Intel HD 4000 graphics and Nvidia GeForce GT640M dedicated graphics with 2 gigs DDR5 VRAM (Kepler). The machine has a backlit keyboard, DVD or Blu-ray drive, 8 gigs of RAM, a 750 gig HDD plus a 32 gig SSD drive.
