In this video, we're talking about AMD's current Catch-22 position: The company must announce something to keep people updated prior to the RTX 30 series launch, but at the same time, announcing with too few details will look weak and lend little confidence. Simultaneously, the company has had a habit of over-promising on its GPU marketing specifically, and doing this too frequently will turn people away. The NVIDIA RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 GPU reviews are close now, and so RDNA2 announcements need to get out there with some show of force if AMD hopes to reach the hold-outs in time.
