GTX 1050 & 1050ti Specs - What Will This Mean for Entry Level Gaming?

The GTX 1050 and 1050ti specs were announced today with the 1050 coming in at $109 and the 1050ti coming in at $139. The 1050 will have 640 cuda cores and sport 2GB GDDR5 memory as well as a 1455mhz clock out the box, and the 1050ti will sport 768 cuda cores and 4GB out the box. The cards are reported to be able to be clocked to as far as 1.9ghz, which will mean some big performance gains over the 750ti and 950.
Though will this mean that we can finally see a cheaper RX470? If so that would be awesome.
