I finally got around to getting a GTX 1060 in the US and decided to run it through DX 12 and Vulkan benchmarks and compare it to the RX 480, in DX 11 titles too. It was surprising, since the gap is noticeable, the GTX 1060 overall did score a pretty solid victory, though one of the most confusing points to come out of this comparison, was the GTX 1060 dropped performance in DX12 and Vulkan and the RX 480 gained.
