*** Summary ***

- Kill Verata in Kessex Peak.
- *BONUS* Kill Verata in Hard Mode.

** Information **

I'll start to say that the reward for this quest is probably one of the most DISCOURAGING ever. For those who do not know Verata and/or never even faced him, you'll quickly find out what he, or better said his entire group (guild actually) has to say to you:

- Verata is a necromancer who was outcasted for his lust of power. Because of that reason, he started to form his own guild (They are called 'Cultists of Verata').

- They can be found wandering around at the very end of Kessex Peak, a dead-end explorable area which is connected to the floating castle called 'Wizard's Tower' (If he is related to it is currently unknown). Anyway, it ensures you for a long walk which is rather tiring, especially with the extra White Mantle now.

- Verata's group consists of many necromancers (obvisouly), potent healers, mesmers and elementalists. Not only are they numerous for one group (about 20-25 foes), but they are also a perfect combination of damage, heal and anti-exploit. Bringing a minion master here, is totally useless.

- By far the only technique to defeat them is to lure each time a part of the entire group as far as possible till they are out of their actual fighting area, and then keep them luring back as they run away again. This way, almost 80% of the entire group will loose aggro and then you can take them more easily 'group' per 'group'.

- Bringing a spiker is essential when the enemies are packing somehow. Especially Water Magic is very useful, because slowing them down will make tightly packed groups unable to escape, and then they are 'lost' and wide open for another spike (like me, 100b, or another elementalist (although not recommended, Spiteful Spirit will do good too)).

-It is HIGLY RECOMMENDED to start from Temple of the Ages, because fighting them with a party of 6 is ridiculously difficult and for most party's and/or PUG's impossbile!

-There's only 1 ressurection shrine, at the start of the Kessex Peak. Wiping means another 5mins of walking in the pocket.

- As long as you have good luring skills, this won't be a problem, but it's just that most new groups always have trouble fighting him, and also most vanquishers only notice Verata at the very last phase of the vanquish, and suddenly find it unable to complete the area because Verata is too strong. If I would suggest anything, it would be to go straight to Verata and see if you can defeat him. If you can, you can be assured to vanquish all the rest!

- All-in-all, if I were to skip any of the Zaishen Bounty (and in the same aspect the Zaishen Vanquish), it would be this one, but anyhow, if you need his elite or something, or if you have a good reason to go there, then do it along with the Zaishen B or V. Have 'fun'!
