Hack to School, Lesson 2: In our second learn-to-code session, JonAlf Dyrland-Weaver guided us into larger NetLogo programs. We learned how patches can be used to manipulate images, created some basic filters, and dove into the NetLogo models library to show the program’s versatility. And for our robot demo (the icing on our code cake!), Will Greenwald showed off a little ‘bot he built with LittleBits —a line of electronics kits that make learning engineering and robotics very accessible.
