The new 8.9 looks exactly like last year's Kindle Fire HDX 8.9. Amazon confirmed it uses the same slim body, and the same bright 2,560-by-1,600 screen. The differences are internal. Most notably, the tablet is now rocking a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor.
