The Withings Aura has three parts: a Bedside Device, a pretty big sensor that goes under your mattress, and the Withings Healthmate mobile app. When it's time to go to bed, you can set an alarm clock in the app, and rather than set an exact time to wake up, you can set it to a window, like, 6:30 a.m. plus or minus 10 minutes. The alarm goes off anytime in that window when you're at an ideal moment in your sleep cycle, so that it doesn't try to knock you out of a deep sleep.
