The space saving qualities that make the iMac so portable might make you think it’s impossible to repair. Well it’s not, and today I am going to show you how to replace the display in a late 2012 iMac. The opening and disassembly of this machine is almost exactly the same as the late 2013 and even the most recent 5k retina machines, but when you are working on your machine make sure you follow the guide specific to your iMac. To find out which iMac you have take a look underneath the foot and find your EMC number, looking up this number will tell you your iMac’s exact model.
