Lisa Gade reviews the HTC One (M8), HTC's new flagship Android smartphone for 2014. The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense 6 software including BlinkFeed, HTC TV with IR blaster and HTC Zoe. It has a lovely 5" full HD display and an aluminum unibody design. The HTC One M8 uses the new 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad core CPU with Adreno 330 graphics and 2 gigs of DDR3 RAM and 32 gigs of internal storage. The phone has a microSD card slot, NFC, dual band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and a GPS. It has the same 4MP equivalent Ultrapixel rear camera as the last One, but HTC adds a second rear camera for depth of field and 3 dimensional info. It has a very good 5MP front camera with BSI and 1080p video recording for seriously good selfies and video chat. The phone will be available on all major carriers.
