The Surface Duo from Microsoft was a problematic device. The idea of a dual-screen Android tablet with Windows integration was exciting, but the execution was lacking. Although the exorbitant price tag, as well as unreliable software and a mediocre camera, make it difficult to recommend, we still enjoy the concept. Microsoft apparently thought so, too, because the Surface Duo 2 is a follow-up that improves practically every aspect of the original. The new device is larger, feels more ergonomic, and promises better cameras and software. In our brief hands-on we were impressed, but considering the first Surface Duo, wait for our full review before you decide to get one.
