Lisa Gade looks at the global unlocked LG V20 Android flagship smartphone with a 5.7” QHD display plus secondary display. As you might guess, this is the successor to the LG V10, and it’s due out later this year. Ours is a late stage, but still pre-release model, so this is a “pre-review” rather than a final full review. The phone runs Android 7 Nougat on the Snapdragon 820 CPU with 4 gigs of RAM and 64 gigs of storage. It has the same dual rear camera set up as the LG G5. The V20 has a removable 3200 mAh battery, which may seem particularly appealing to those who are concerned about the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 battery fiasco. The phone has a high quality ESS Sabre audio DAC and it does have impressively good headphone audio. We expect it to be available on most major carriers, likely in October 2016.
