Microsoft has finally realized the Surface Pro dream for 2021. (mostly). The Surface Pro 8 has a new design that is based on the Surface Pro X, with lower bezels and softly rounded thin edges. The display is now larger, approaching the size of a conventional Ultrabook at 13", and it still supports pen and touch. The new MS Slim Pen 2 and the enhanced display digitizer offer for a far better writing and drawing experience. The kickstand-equipped convertible tablet runs Windows 11 on Intel 11th generation Core i5 and i7 CPUs, with an upgradeable SSD and soldered RAM. Thunderbolt 4 is the successor of legacy ports. The Type Cover keyboard and pen are, as always, excellent.
