Welcome back to Tech YES City, I am proud to present you guys an unboxing of the GTX 780 lightning edition (whilst one hand is typing this and the other is fist pumping the air). My god this is a premium product and MSI have certainly done a lot to improve their brand name over the years, this product not only looks like a premium product, but also feels like one and certainly performs like one (although I got a mediocre result from the silicon lottery this time).
Card Detail begins from 3:45
Benchmarks begin from 8:45
I initially unboxed this and decided to do the review over a few days with a heap of benchmarks with bf4 tested and an interesting result for skyrim too. The custom over clock was was set at +202mhz above reference and also the memory was overclocked at +200 (couldn't get anymore on either), which a voltage boost of +49mv.
This card is damn quiet and the cooler is something to behold with the whole card weighing in at 1.5kg, the bigger the better for me lol.
Anyway hope you guys enjoy this review and if there is anything you wish to add then just leave a comment below! It was also an impressive feat that this thing scored about the same as a gtx 780ti SC version in the 3dmark 11 (when mine was overclocked), not bad for a $520 card (although I did pick it up for a bargain)!
