The iPad Air 2 is the thinnest, lightest, and fastest Apple tablet
yet. As you can see here, at 6.1 millimeters, it’s noticeably thinner
than the last iPad air, and it’s under a pound. The Air 2 upgraded its
rear camera from 5 to 8 megapixels and added a touch ID sensor on the
front, but the most important changes are inside.
