The OnePlus 10T 5G has already been the subject of much criticism ahead of the unboxings and reviews, as the manufacturer admitted that iconic alert slider has been culled for this smartphone. It's a small but lovable feature that was still on the 10 Pro, and its absence on the OnePlus 10T is a real shame - but is it a deal breaker?

We've also seen lots of leaks this week, revealing more on the specs, camera tech etc. But if you're still intrigued by the few bits that haven't been revealed, check out the OnePlus 10T launch on August 3. I may have some video going live here too!

This week also saw the launch of the Asus Zenfone 9, which I'm a massive fan of. Seriously, best compact phone of 2022 and one of my favourite blowers full stop. Meaty performance, solid battery life, strong gaming chops and some respectable camera tech, all in miniature smartphone form.
