In our Headline News segment, Experian, a company that makes its money from providing consumer credit histories, is being investigated by several states due to a data breach that exposed 200 million social security numbers to potential criminal activity. Experian wasn't hacked. No, they sold this information willingly. The brainiacs behind Project Ara are hoping consumers want a deeper level of customization than just picking a cool case when it comes to their smartphone. A dangerous and utterly ridiculous bug has been discovered in the Nest Project sensor that prompted the Google-owned company to pull the product from shelves. The smoke alarm apparently shuts down when you wave at it.
