Chapter 3 is probably named The Return as a reference to the first Portal due to all the similarities between the first and Portal 2. You could assume this chapter is a warm-up for the following that you have to solve, because you need the basics from Portal 1 for the new implented techniques and items, for expample: The Aerial Faith Plate, and the Repulsion Gel, as well as the Propulsion Gel. Anyway, you'll find out. In this part, GLaDOS is also talking about a surprise she wants to give to you, of course after a whole lot of levels. See that you get to the surprise! Good luck!

[PS]: The in-game interface and menu options have significantly changed according to the habit of the older source engine like the ones of Counter-Strike: Source and Portal 1, but the options are obvious and it's the same as before with some extra's.
