So I found the R9-290 on amazon for $250 USD and decided to pull the trigger, and honestly after spending a lot of time with this graphics card I can say that it is a good buy (though still not a great buy), even though the card runs triple A titles fine, it still suffers from some weird micro stuttering from time to time (maybe my eyes can notice it better than others? I dunno). Also the fact that the card benched LOWER (?) after 2 weeks of usage really has me scratching my head. I also throw in the comparison of the r9-290 vs gtx 970 and I will make another video showing a head to head comparison in more depth as I believe these two cards are the best out there at the moment.
Though the Windforce solution did a fine job of cooling the card and I can recommend it to anyone. Also the card did overclock pretty well I was able to get it to 1089mhz on the core and 1515 (x4 effective) on the memory, so the memory showed a big overclock. As for everything else you can watch the review to find out more.
