I should know because I recently expanded my 64GB Deck to 256GB (using a used 2230 SSD for £18). The 64GB eMMC storage is offered as a removable 2230 card. Additionally, it easily fits in my backpack with room to spare, inside of its carry case (it's a Xiaomi commuter bag I received free with the purchase of a tablet).
