On February 5th Washington representatives met to consider house bill 1342. The bill is one of many Right to Repair bills being introduced in the US this year that will require electronics manufacturers to provide repair resources and diagnostic tools to independent repair shops and consumers. Kyle Wiens and local repair professionals teamed up to testify and explain why Right to Repair laws are needed in Washington.
