RX 7900 XTX Easily Beats The RTX 4080 in Warzone 2... But Why is this?

The RX 7900 XTX has landed in for benchmarking and review and I wanted to focus on one PC game in particular, and that is Call of Duty Warzone 2 (and Modern warefar 2). This game shows big gains wherever I look for the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX, especially vs the Nvidia counterparts like the RTX 4080 and 4090. In fact it performs so well in this title that it sometimes comes within a hair of the RTX 4090 at 4K and 1440p, and even beats it at 1080p! Though why is this? And is it a sign of what's coming for the RX 7900 XTX in other titles? Let's discuss and go into a deep dive.
