Lisa Gade reviews the Samsung ATIV Odyssey Windows Phone 8 smartphone on Verizon. The ATIV Odyssey has a 4", 800 x 480 Super AMOLED display and sells for $49 with contract. It's roughly equivalent to the Samsung Galaxy S III Mini, and is the smaller, lower spec cousin to the ATIV S available overseas. The phone runs on a 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon CPU with a gig of RAM and 8 gigs of internal storage. There's a microSD card slot, removable battery, NFC, dual band WiFi, a front video chat camera and rear 5MP camera with LED flash. The phone has LTE on Verizon's network and its capable of overseas GSM roaming on EDGE and 3G.
