Lisa Gade reviews the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, Samsung’s classier 4.7” model with metal sizes similar to the Galaxy Note 4. The Alpha is priced similarly to the Galaxy S5 and it uses the same 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad core CPU for fast performance in a smaller package. The 4 ounce phone is slim and good looking and it has a removable plastic back that grants access to the 1860 mAh battery. It has a 1280 x 720 Super AMOLED display, 12 megapixel rear camera that can shoot 4k video, dual band WiFi 802.11ac, NFC, Bluetooth and a GPS. In the US it’s exclusive to AT&T where it sells for $199 with 2 year contract and $612.99 full retail.
