Lisa Gade breaks down what's new (and what isn't) in Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 folding phones, which will be released in 2021. The phones will be available unlocked as well as from all major carriers, and will cost $200 less than their predecessors (with some strong pre-order incentives). With a larger outer display, a 120Hz folding ultra-thin glass 6.7" AMOLED inner display, and a fresh style, the Z Flip 3 has undergone a considerable revamp. The Z Fold 3 adds compatibility for the S Pen as well as a more powerful internal display. Both have 5G and use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 CPU to run Android 11 with One UI 3.1. In the coming weeks, we'll have thorough individual evaluations of both phones.
