Lisa Gade reviews the Samsung Gear 2 Smartwatch. The Gear 2 is powered by Tizen based wearable platform and has a 1.63" Super AMOLED 320 x 320 display. The Smartwatch runs on a 1GHz dual core CPU, has a 2 MP camera that captures up to 1080p photos and 720p videos. The watch also has a heart rate sensor and comes with Pedometer, Exercise and other health focused apps. The Galaxy Gear 2 currently works with the Samsung Galaxy SIII, S4, S5 series of smartphones and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition and Galaxy Tab Pro and Note Pro. The list price for the Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 is $299.
