Lisa Gade reviews the Sony A7 camera. This is the first full frame ILC (interchangeable lens camera). The CMOS sensor is the same size as other full frame cameras and 35mm film cameras. The Alpha a7 is incredibly compact and portable and the body weighs just 1 pound. It has a 24.3MP sensor and Sony's new BIONZ X processor. The camera is compatible with Sony's new FE full frame E mount lens and Sony NEX E mount lenses. You can buy adapters to use Sony A mount lens or other brand lenses. The camera can shoot full HD video with auto-focus in AVCHD format and both RAW and JPEG for photos. We cover the kit 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 kits lens too. The camera plus lens sells for $2,000 and the body alone is $1,700.
