Apple's launch of the AirPods Max was the only real consumer tech shenanigans of the week - a proper over-ear pair of headphones that we expected much earlier in 2020. You've got ANC and all the usual premium headphone features packed into the AirPods Max but they're also £549 which frankly is insane. Just....no.
