This week we check out the Sony news: the Xperia Pro's eventual launch in the US, plus that fresh Sony Alpha 1 camera which can shoot 8K. Motorola also launched its first phone of 2021, the Moto Edge S, which will hopefully hit the UK soon.

That Pro smartphone is one for video blog people and photographers, as you can use that 4K display as a viewfinder with its HDMI support. And if you want one of the most powerful and feature-packed mirrorless cameras around, check out the new Sony Alpha 1, which is far from cheap but boasts a 50MP full frame sensor and 8K video capture.

We also take a look at Carl Pei's Nothing, a new tech brand that so far has literally done what its name says. But here's hoping we see some snazzy smart devices launched before Summer.
