Tesla's Semi truck will also not begin hauling goods this year. During its most recent earnings call, the manufacturer revealed that the truck's arrival has been put back — yet again — to 2022, three years after its original launch target of 2019. Last year, the business revealed that it would have to push the vehicle's release date back to 2021, but it didn't say why or if it was due to the epidemic. Tesla has now informed shareholders that the Semi truck will be delayed owing to low battery cell availability and worldwide supply chain issues, according to TechCrunch.
