The Nintendo Switch OLED is fantastic, but is it a must-have?

The new OLED Switch is now available. The internals are identical — no 4K output — but the screen and kickstand are significantly improved. Many had hoped for a Switch Pro (Super Switch?) and were disappointed.
The new 7" OLED screen, which is brighter and more saturated with genuine blacks that only an OLED panel can give, reduces the Switch's hefty bezels (and it pairs great with the moody atmosphere of Metroid Dread). We're not sure how many people use tabletop mode, but it's a better option than before thanks to the new adjustable kickstand and larger speakers. Is it necessary to use an OLED Switch? Yes, it's a difficult decision if you've never tried one and only have a Switch.
